About the Course
Introduction
This accreditation provides Learners with the knowledge and skills of planning, safely locating and avoiding underground services. This includes training on physical identification methods of underground services (e.g. site visual surveys and interpreting any drawings) and using cable avoidance tools and accessories to detect, trace and mark clearly where services have been found, preventing risk of harm to people on site and damage to the services.
The course should be attended by the excavation teams, their Managers, Supervisors, and the Health & Safety team to ensure the training standard is maintained on site following the training.
Prerequisites
· NRSWA Streetworks Qualification – Unit 01.
· Risk Assessment.
Course Duration
The SA022 accreditation covers three modules over a one-and-a-half-day course. The course includes both a theory and practical assessment.
